Register May 22, 2018 12:30 pm May 22, 2018 1:00 pm America/Chicago Spartans@Work: Entrepreneurship

Join the Chicago Spartans Professional Development Committee and Chicagoland Spartan leaders for an insight into Entrepreneurship. If you’re interested in learning more about what it takes to start your own company or how to prepare for some of the challenges faced by new companies, register for this 30 minute lunchtime conference call and learn more! This call will feature Jillian Lorenz, ’00, co-founder and CEO of The Barre Code, which is a group fitness program engineered for women that has studios in 15 states across the country. Jillian will share with us her experience with and insights gained from starting and growing her own business. She co-founded The Barre Code after spending over ten years immersing herself in the business world through her work with a global consulting firm, so she knows exactly what it’s like to take the leap from a corporate job into the world of entrepreneurship! Jillian has served as a lululemon athletica ambassador and has been featured on Good Day Chicago as post-natal fitness expert (as a mother herself), as well as highlighted in Harper’s Bazaar, SELF Magazine, Glamour, Entrepreneur, Women’s Health, Cosmopolitan, Inc., and Prevention for her fitness expertise. Jillian has completed executive education leadership programs at the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She was also the winner of the Spartan Innovator Award at this year’s SpartyBall. The 30-minute call will start at 12:30pm CDT on Tuesday, May 22. Conference call access information will be emailed to you once you register.
