Each year, the Michigan State Alumni Association of Metro Chicago contributes to an Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship was established to support academically strong students from the Metro Chicago area who have demonstrated financial need. Last year this endowment provided a $3,000 scholarship to a local Chicago high school senior to attend Michigan State. The goal of this endowment is to someday provide a student with a full scholarship. SpartyBall in the Windy City is the largest contributor to this valuable and noteworthy cause.
