Our scholarship winner for 2007 (Leslie B. Rout Scholarship) is Kelsie Joestgen of Spring Grove,
Illinois. She is from Richmond-Burton High School. She is an outstanding student
and named to the honor roll each year. She has been active in all of the
school's publications and has secured a job at the State News. She is an athlete
and holds the school record in the pole vault. She was selected as Homecoming
Queen. She plans to major in Journalism. Her grandmother is the sister of
Tom Izzo's father.
