Annual Neighborhood Appreciation Block Party

Hosted by Higgins Tavern, Spartan owned Lakeview bar, is having its Annual Neighborhood Appreciation Block Party on Sunday, August 23, 2009.

Complimentary burgers, brats, hot dogs, chicken breast sandwiches and sweet corn!

Bring your own beverages or purchase them at the Tavern.

The Jumping Jack unit will be arriving between 1pm and 2:30pm. A service stop from the Chicago Fire Department has been requested too! Its gonna be wild!

August Not-So-Strategic Networking

The Not-So Strategic Networking Event is a co-hosted event by the MSU AA Club of Metro Chicago and the Broad Alumni Network.

Castaways Beach Day

Look for the Spartan Flag in the sand right in front of Castaways around 11am!

Join your fellow Spartans during the day and then head on up to the second floor of Castaways Bar & Grill. We’ll be gathering on the north side rooftop of the restaurant from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

Castaways Bar & Grill features great appetizers, sandwiches, fresh salads and refreshing desserts. Their cool beverages include pina coladas, margaritas, daiquiris and cold draft beer.

2nd Annual Spartan Crawl!

SPARTAN CRAWL IS SOLD OUT AGAIN!

Its that time of year again for the 2nd Annual Spartan Crawl!

The Crawl will be on Saturday, February 7th.

Do you like to crawl to bars? Do you like to wear matching tees amongst all your fellow Alumni? Do you like to take a school bus from bar to bar? Do you like to watch MSU Men's Basketball? If so, then this event is for you! Tickets are $25 for t-shirt, transportation, and drink specials (don’t forget tickets are only $20 if you attend the pre-party on the 29th of January!) We’ll hit 5 MSU bars and watch the Spartans take on Indiana!

Schedule:

12:30pm: Plan B,1635 N Milwaukee, pick up t-shirt/wristband
2:15 pm: The Shire, 3328 N. Lincoln, Game Watching against Indiana (Optional $25 all you can eat/drink for game)
5:30 pm: Grand River, 3032 N. Lincoln
6:45pm: O’Malleys West, 2249 N. Lincoln
8:00pm: Tin Lizzie, 2483 N. Clark
9:15pm: Hi-Tops (Old Gin Mill Location!)
