Thank you for your interest in joining the Board of the MSU Alumni Club of Metro Chicago! All Board positions are for a period of two years from the date of election.  Requirements are:

1. Board members are expected to be active in the oversight, planning, promotion and execution of club activities, programs, and campaigns.
2. Board members are expected to attend all club general meetings; approximately one per month.
3. Board members are expected to serve on at least one club committee.
4. All applicants must be paid members of the MSU Alumni Association. You can sign up at www.msualum.com if you are not currently a paid member.
5. Applicants are expected to attend one Board meeting before elections on 4.25.2010 where they will be introduced and given the opportunity to share more about their interests and availability to serve on the Board.
6. The next two Board meetings will be held on Monday, March 8^th.  They will be conducted in the upstairs bar at O’Malley’s West, located at 2249 North Lincoln Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614-3717.  Call 773.935.2719 or www.omalleyswest.com for directions.

The world record has been set by an MSU Alumni for the Ironman Sean Stringer.  He has set the world record for completing the most Ironman races in one year (20)!!

He is hosting a fundraising event on Feb 5th for the non-profit charity One Good Thought. It is to benefit kids by supporting leadership development and volunteer programs.
