We Welcome all Spartan Alumni, Friends, Fans and Supporters!
Each month Chicago Spartans gather to plan events, share ideas, discuss club finances, organize scholarship initiatives, launch new programs, add new members to our committees and have fun by making new friends.
By attending a meeting, you can learn quickly which activities you’d enjoy participating in and which committees you might like to volunteer on.
Join us Monday, August 9th as we meet from 6:30PM to 8:30PM at Bacino’s Pizzaria Trattoria at 118 S. Clinton Street, Chicago, IL 60661 (312) 876-1188. The restaurant is located on the west side of Clinton, between Monroe and Adams.

Help us support the Lincoln Park Community Shelter by donating a much-needed item to "Sparty's Closet." The Lincoln Park Community Shelter (LPCS) is comprehensive social service agency serving adult men and women who are experiencing homelessness. Please bring two or more of the following much-needed items to the event for freebies!
New
underwear (adult or plus-sizes only), athletic and dress socks, deodorant, razors, toilet paper, laundry detergent, fabric softener
Clorox wipes, spray disinfectant (Lysol), creamer (powdered), sugar, cereal, real bars, rbal tea
New or lightly used
mousepads, ofessional bags/briefcases, clothes (adult clothes only, large or plus-sizes are best), large mixing bowls, can openers
Also at the event, learn about our new volunteer opportunities and sign up to receive emails about MSU Alumni Club of Metro Chicago's volunteer events.

Join your fellow Spartans for a relaxing evening of mingling and networking at the Tin Lizzie! For a $5.00 wristband/donation to the Chicago Spartan Scholarship Fund receive $2.50 domestic bottles, $3.50 calls and $4 wine.
We'll be there from 6-9pm! They have great food and great drinks!

 Don’t miss Sunday afternoon at the ballpark on August 22nd with your fellow Spartans as we watch the Cubs take on Atlanta. Go Cubs Go!
We’ll gather for brunch at 11AM at Higgins Tavern, located at the SE corner of Racine and School. After brunch, we’ll walk over to Wrigley Field together for the 1:20PM game. Then after the game, we will gather back at Higgins Tavern to celebrate our win or to talk about next year’s possibilities.
The package price is $45 for members, $55 for non-members. It includes brunch, a game ticket and a $10 contribution to support the Club’s Scholarship Fund. Reservations can be made, along with your payment by cash, check or charge, in person at 3259 N. Racine or by phone at 773.281.7637. We have a limited number of seats in Section 528 so make your reservations now.

This year's MSU Alumni boat cruise will be aboard Chicago's most recognized schooner - Windy! Enjoy food, drinks, friends, and the sunset behind the Chicago skyline! Network and meet new Spartans while enjoying a 2-hour sail across the lake!
Boarding will begin at 7:45pm on Friday, September 10th. We will set sail promptly at 8:00pm, returning at 10:00pm. Windy is located on Navy Pier about half way down near RIVA and Dock Street Cafe.
Ticket prices include; the Sail on Windy, food from ROTI Mediterranean Grill, and Drinks (Beer, Wine, and a 'Specialty Spartan' Drink).
